Joint Launch event with Laura Ruby for Mama and Mommy and Me in the Middle and Me and Ms. Too

7pm CT. Virtual. Register here!

Nina will be celebrating with her brilliant friend and colleague Laura Ruby at Red Balloon Bookshop. Laura's debut picture book, Me and Ms. Too, illustrated by Dung Ho, is an utterly delightful and touching story about a child getting used to her new stepmother. Tey’ll both be signing bookplates for this event, so if you'd like to have a personalized book from Nina and don't live in the Bay Area, this is the best way to get one.

Writing, Reading, Responding with Elana K. Arnold

A workshop for writers and writing partnerships in celebration of Nina LaCour's new novel Watch Over Me.

Using Nina's latest novel as a case study, Elana K. Arnold and Nina LaCour will discuss the drafting, critiquing, and revision process.

You'll leave with strategies to help you draft with greater focus, respond with generosity and honesty, and receive criticism with curiosity and openness.

(NOTE: Be sure to read Watch Over Me before this workshop! It's like a book club for writers--you'll need to be familiar with the book to follow the discussion, and spoilers will abound.)

Register here.
