Hello, November and January Alumni!

If you enjoyed our group chats and would like to make them a regular part of your life, I hope you’ll join me! (And if anything changes for you, you’re free to cancel anytime.)

The calls are slightly different than before. They will be held through Zoom for better quality. They’ll begin with a brief catch-up and welcome where everyone will share how their month of writing has been; I’ll give a mini-lecture on a specific topic; and then we’ll open it up to questions and discussion.

Dates and times will be variable to accommodate different schedules, and recordings will be available for a couple of weeks after the meetings in case you can’t make them in person. You’ll be able to reach out anytime to request that we cover a particular topic—I’ll be seeking lots of feedback from the group!

The next video call will be on June 18th at 9 a.m. PST with a special guest: literary agent Sara Crowe!

Sara is a Senior Agent at Pippin Properties, where she represents books for children and adults. She began her career at The Wylie Agency, and worked in foreign rights for 8 years. Her clients include Newbery and Printz winners, New York Times Bestselling authors, and debut authors. She loves finding new talent to champion, and nurturing and developing careers.
